Marsha Drew gave your names as references for her wedding planning services. I am planning my wedding for next year and would like to engage her services. Can you let me know how you felt about her performance as a wedding planner? Specifically, I am interested in the following:

 -Responsiveness (did she return calls promptly? did she keep you informed of all relevant details?)

-Frugality (did she use her time efficiently? did the total cost of her services come out to be more or less than you expected?)

-Follow-through (did she think of all the details and then some? did she follow through consistently on everything you asked her to do?)

-Distance (if your wedding was long distance, how did she bridge the gap and make you feel comfortable with how plans were coming along?)

 I really appreciate you taking the time to provide this reference. Having gone through the whole wedding planning ordeal yourselves, I'm sure you understand how important it is to make the right choices regarding this type of thing. Thanks again for your help!

Hi Lisa,

 Congratulations on your wedding. You are far more on the ball than I, my boyfriend proposed after 10 years on Christmas Day and we got married February 15^th! To further complicate matters it had to be in Florida and we live in Long Island New York , it had to be on a sailing catamaran and it HAD to be at sunset. In case you are wondering, I have been accused of being high maintenance…But I digress. I spent exactly one evening on the internet/phone trying to coordinate it myself and realized I was in deep do-do. If I didn’t find someone on the ground but pronto, this was not coming off. If you searched the internet yourself, like me your probably saw some pretty flaky outfits. I liked the looks of Marsha’s site and shot her an email. She responded the next morning. By the following day, we had scheduled a conference call to firm up the details. In that amount of time, she found the exact type of boat I was looking for and a restaurant who would handle the affair. But that’s just the beginning…

 Marsha was instantly responsive via email, which works best for me, and we spoke on the phone when necessary. She arranged to have menus faxed, put me in direct contact with the restaurant owners to give them any details, made recommendations on catering for the boat, guidance on getting the marriage license, ordered the flowers, arranged a photographer, made the cake, and even allowed me to ship my wedding favors to her house prior to our arrival. I didn’t even meet her until the day of the wedding, walking down the boat to the dock. She handed out the favors (and also had dropped additional favors at the restaurant so I wouldn’t have to), performed the ceremony – everything was flawless. Oh, and by the way, her cake was the best tasting cake that ANYONE in our party had ever had. The guys at the restaurant say she makes the best cakes in town. So much so, I am trying to get her up her to Long Island in May when I have my local reception. Of course, she will be an invited guest as well. So, I say you could not be in better hands; she made my day worry-free and perfect. All of her prices were reasonable, and not one penny more than she quoted…Good luck!

My husband Mike and I were married on April 16, 2005 by Marsha Drew. Our wedding was everything we could have hoped for. Without Marsha's help, we could never have been able to pull it off!

Our jobs had just transferred Mike and I from Connecticut to California in February, just TWO months prior to our wedding. Needless to say, we had a lot on our plates, including planning a wedding. Words cannot express how helpful it was to have ONE point of contact for everything, from the wedding ceremony, to the cocktail reception, to the flowers….. Marsha did it all! She even made our wedding favors...key lime cookies with white chocolate chips, delicious and beautifully packaged. Our wedding went off without a hitch and we have Marsha to thank for that!

We cannot thank you enough for the beautiful wedding you helped make possible. We'll never forget what a wonderful and very special day it was. You truly are the BEST planner. It was like being reunited with a very dear friend. We had planned on getting married 2 years ago but had to cancel our plans when my Mom passed away after a long battle with Cancer. It was hard to even think of planning this day without her. She was the one who made everything perfect. You really did fill that gap for me. I know she must have sent you to me to give us this beautiful memory we will hold in our hearts forever.

I wanted to write and thank you for a wonderful wedding....I've been dreaming about this day for a long time and am so amazed at how close you made my dream a reality. I was very concerned about having someone else plan my big day but I have to say it was the best decision I made. With everything else going on and all of the planning involved we couldn't have chosen a more warm and caring person. We were truly touched by the sincerity you gave to our ceremony. We've just had a chance to watch our wedding video and it was absolutely beautiful. Marsha, you truly made our wedding day a memorable one. Thank you so very much!

I just can't tell you what all that you did meant to us. It was wonderful knowing that everything was taken care of. The cake you made was simply gorgeous and delicious. We look forward to eating it again on our 1st anniversary. Every little touch that you put into our wedding made it very special to us. I really appreciate you working with John to make this a beautiful wedding. I can honestly say that had it not been for your guidance, who knows what John would have come up with on his own! It was such a touching surprise to me. I also appreciated your help in getting me ready for the ceremony. You really went above and beyond to make the day worry free for us. The photographer and videographer were wonderful as well. We would highly recommend them and you to anyone, and have!  Thank you again for everything!

It was a pleasure to work with you. Thank you for always being there for us when we had questions even if it was minor! It was great to keep in touch constantly via email so there was no phone tag. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous and was definitely more than I expected.. You made us feel very comfortable with everything especially by coming to our rooms to meet the families and then prepping us before the ceremony. That really calmed my nerves.
